I typically stay at a Holiday Inn Express as the few extra dollars, complimentary breakfast, and consistent experience is what I value. This was a disappointing stay. I've never stayed in a IHG property where the grime on the bathroom floor was visibly noticeable and the room smelled of baby powder vs that fresh cleaner smell most rooms have. The breakfast bar had cereal, but the cooler where yogurt and milk usually are only had butter in it and I was there at 6:30 am. The traditional IHG breakfast of eggs, meat, and a potato did not have any potatoes either, nor any decaf coffee. The pancake machine was off so I assume it was not functional. I did not try to use it. You could tell the table tops in the buffet area were cleaned, but it was if they used a dirty rag as one could see the smears of dirty water unlike that usual spotless shine. The building itself looked modern and not run-down, and the bedding looked clean, but their cleaning staff who does the physical wiping and scrubbing is very subpar below typical IHG standards at this property. I wish I had given the Four Points by Sheraton that is next door (and looks just as modern on the outside) a chance as it was $2 less per night.

The juice machine and waffle maker were broken so I was unable to enjoy the free breakfast. There were old drinks in the market to purchase. Everything looks really dingy inside the property. It can be cleaned better.

Amazing property!

The card keys were down the whole stay, someone had to manually let us in every time, hardly any breakfast options. Juice was out, milk was out. Charged me more than what hotels.com stated, had to fight to get a refund. Not a good place.

When we checked in we were informed that we would not have keys to our room and staff would have to let us in each time. I inly had breakfast once the last day of our stay. The cook was very standoff and not replenishing things we didn't have plates, coffee stirs, the bacon was delicious. Room as great until I used the microwave it was dirty. I would have expected a refund as to the inconvenience of being locked out. Top it all off no keys had been Goin on for over a week. I should've been notified about this prior to check-in. But I guess they didn't want to loose business and like their staff to work super hard. Leaving roim doors unlocked is not safe practice.
