Property was well maintained overall. Staff was attentive and friendly. Hotel was in walking distance to downtown and great food options in close proximity. My husband and I had the basic king room with the pool view. Room size was small but enough for the both of us. Our overall experience was a 10/10

EVERYTHING was perfect!! Rico was the epitome of kindness, hospitality and personality. We especially enjoyed our dinner at Cleo Mediterranean, sharing kabobs and the mezethakia. The Monkey Bar did not disappoint. We’ll definitely be back!!!

I found food price to expensive

Although the staff was very nice, we were not very happy with the rooms. The decor was nice and the kitchen had everything needed but… Our first room was not cleaned well. The bathroom grout was dirty and the carpet sticky. We moved to another room and although that one was very clean there was an issue with the air conditioning. The room was always very humid. Our clothes felt humid all the time. As soon as you opened the door you could feel the humidity smell. Although they came to check on the AC it was never really fixed. Also the noise every time the AC turned on sounded like an airplane taking off. It was so loud and the unit was inside the bedroom, it would wake you up multiple times during the night. Regarding transportation around the other properties, in the most part there were buses coming every 10-15 minutes which was fine, but one time we had to wait at the royal for 30 minutes waiting for a bus. Everything there is very expensive, specially water!! One bottle is $12 USD. The other properties were nice but be prepared to walk very long distances. To go to the the beach you have to walk a very long distance. The food at the fish by jose Andre’s restaurant was delicious as well as the su day brunch at the buffet

The resort as a whole was incredible. Snorkeling on beaches right at the hotel was great, even saw a couple of sea Turtles, exotic stingrays, and a tone of fish on the reefs without doing a boat excursion. The pools and slides were awesome with the river rapid ride. Places to eat are mostly around the Royal Tower and Coral, but the shuttles are super easy to use to get around. Every meal you can think of from Burgers and hot dogs all the way up to super luxury eating available on site. With all these great attractions the only thing missing was the all inclusive packages, but the put a $250.00 a night hold on your card at check in and everything at the resort can be charged to your room and the folio is right on your TV to track spending. Give the experience a solid 5 stars just expect to spend resort prices for everything including water and drinks. We did 1 excursion and it was awesome and took a cab into town for a meal and to do some shopping and tours. Got caught off guard by a cab driver who said I will wait for you and take you to the next stop. At the end of that trip a 250.00 cab ride for three and a half hours, but I guess maybe we didn’t ask enough questions.
