Check-in personnel were very efficient and personable. But the room’s furniture was too grimy to sit on, the area outside the room was littered with hundreds of cigarette butts, and the “breakfast” was awful—nothing but inedible waffles and bitter coffee. Terrible experience. I will not stay in another EconoLodge anywhere.

As for a non-smoking room, but it smelled of pot and cigarettes. The bed was uncomfortable. We went to take a shower the next morning the cold water would not turn off or adjust so we could take a shower. Ask for another room and they said they didn’t have one. Asked for the manager to call and they did not. One of the worst days I’ve ever had a motel.

This is an older property, starting in the 1950's as a Holiday Inn. It's a little outdated but for the price it was OK. I just needed a clean bed and bath for the night, and that's what I found. I did not stay on the property except to sleep. It was quiet and I felt safe, considering the neighborhood. I probably would not choose this facility again.

Burned up bed

Room rates marked up due to race weekend; however room was nasty. Bedding had multiple burn holes. Continental breakfast was only waffles and fruit. No cereal etc. I will not be returning to this facility.

The hotel was disgusting!!! I told them when I left and they told me I should have told them earlier and they told me they would have given me another room. The problem was that they were sold out! My question is why wouldn’t they have cleaned it befor we got there!!!!!! The manager had a definite attitude!!

Poor hotel

Hotel was in poor condition. Shower tiles were coming off the wall. Did not feel safe in the hotel outdoor environment and A/C was loud every time it turned on to the point that it woke you up every few minutes

For a 60 year old building it’s not bad. Convenient location for us. Old and dated but clean enough. In need of an update. Falls in the “you get what you pay for“ category. When there I’m only looking for a crash pad. If you want luxury this isn’t the place.

I actually didn't stay at Econolodge. I made a reservation off of a website. The website defaulyed to the wrong date and I mistakenly confirmed. It did not allow forna date changebor refund, so i just lost my money.

Room dirty, said remodeled but far from it. Need updating, a good strong cleaning happier staff. you could tell staff not happy with their jobs. Breakfast area was awful- very dirty dust everywhere and painting equipment in there. Awful- if it is being painted and worked you should let people in there.
