Unfortunately we had numerous issues and I find this level of service to be unacceptable. 1. We found a soiled pair of women’s underwear on the floor in our room. Of note, our two year old daughter was traveling with us - as most two year olds do, she loves to pick up and investigate anything and we are lucky she did not happen to stumble across these before we did. 2. We also found a random white pill on the floor of our room. I don’t know if this was a prescription medication or a recreational drug, but again, we are horrified by what could have happened if our daughter had found or ingested this! 3. The cleaning service was grossly inadequate - on top of the other two complaints, no clean towels or shampoo were provided on the only day of cleaning. 4. We were told that hotel staff would reach out to address these complaints. Days passed with no communication so I reached out myself via email and still, about three weeks later, we have not had a response. This is unfortunately disrespectful on top of the poor service and cleanliness we received at the hotel. We would not recommend this location for a stay under any circumstances.

The Chapter House is an absolutely charming Inn with a rich history and period elegance. Our experience began with some very attentive and inviting attention from Bill, who was the manager at check-in. He had already communicated that our room was ready and he immediately made us feel at home. He took us personally to our room, which was in the Carriage House and it was cozy and completely charming with a sumptuous King bed......great sleep! What is really charming about the Chapter House are the grounds, which include a large golf-green like lawn and patio deck with ample seating and places to relax. And lastly, a six-seater bar with great drink menu and nosh, and Bill bakes the most amazing chocolate croissants! Fabulous stay and we can't wait to go back!

The staff were super friendly and the homemade breakfast was so good.

The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast each day was unique and delicious! Hosts are so friendly, helpful, and communicative! They felt like friends when we left! 10/10 recommend!!

I would not choose to stay here again. Very low quality in terms of the beds, linens, maintenance of the property. It seemed more like a party house than a retreat as advertised. The location is close to downtown Hyannis but misleading as it is not a cute cape cod house or location. Very industrious, no outside space, no dining space. Check in process was very challenging.

We had an amazing stay and we can not wait to be back.
