"Family reunion"
We checked in on Jan 6,2017 and the next day we had a blizzard. Edgartown pretty much closed up but, the staff at the hotel checked on us constantly to make sure we had everything we needed.

"Nice B&B on outskirts of Oak Bluffs"
We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are lovely and include a clay tennis court. There is parking on site. The fact that it's outside the center of Oak Bluffs makes it a nice quiet retreat. It is a bit of a walk to get downtown however (about 20 minutes) and there are no sidewalks. Not a problem during daylight but at night can be a bit scary with the traffic. We are looking forward to staying here again soon. I'm recommending this place to all my friends!

"Great location"
Location is great ..steps from harbor, shops, etc. Staff knowledgable & friendly. Hotel is historic & a bit "tired". It will be undergoing a remodeling project in Jan. with work scheduled to refresh lobby, rooms & major work on bathrooms. There is no elevator (historic bldg) so there are stairs to climb. We will stay there again.

"Gorgeous, Excellent Location"
The hotel is gorgeous and in the perfect location. We were in room 6 which was lovely but tiny! My husband is only 5-10 but kept bumping his head on the pitched ceiling. Bathroom was tiny as well but very well done. Bed was very comfortable as well. We would definitely stay at The Sydney again but would opt for a different room.

"Nice Stay"
this was a great inn within walking distance to the ferry & all other sites in Oak Bluffs. The rooms are small & we had a nice balcony off of our bedroom to sit out on enjoy the outdoors but we really didn't spend much time inside our room as we were out visiting everything to see in Martha;s Vineyard, The inn also has a nice front porch with tables & rocking chairs. Continental breakfast mostly coffee cakes, muffins & assorted breads. Microwave & fridge available for guest in the downstairs kitchen area but no seating-eat in your room, on the porch or sitting area in reception area. This is a very old but quaint Inn which is one of the reasons we chose it & looks like the "Gingerbread Cottages" located nearby.

"The Perfect Place To Stay In Oak Bluffs!"
The Oak Bluffs Inn exceeded our expectations for the perfect place to stay in Oak Bluffs. Erik was a terrific host and catered to our every need from the moment we arrived until we departed. Thank you Erik and Rhonda for your generosity and gracious hospitality at The Oak Bluffs Inn. We stayed in Room #10, the amazing Penthouse Apartment. It was charming and immaculate with two private bedrooms, a fantastic bathroom, and a spacious dining/living area with cable TV, and opened to a private terrace. The kitchenette was fully stocked with appliances, utensils, coffee/tea, and snacks, and had a desk with electronic outlets. We had roomy hall closets and air condition w/remotes in every room. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of healthy choices and special baked bread. We dined in the dining room, and outside on the wraparound veranda of wicker chairs and tables. Water and refreshments was provided throughout the day and evening. The Oak Bluffs Inn is on the main street in the heart of Oak Bluffs. We walked to Inkwell Beach, restaurants, shopping, to the dock with its yachts, buses, and ferryboats. We walked to museums, tours, concerts, art galleries, and the historical Campground with its quaint gingerbread houses, all just minutes away from The Inn. We drove to other towns in the Vineyard, and upon our returned always found parking in the Inn Parking Lot, or on the street adjacent to the Inn. Our first choice for Martha’s Vineyard is Oak Bluffs Inn.

Martha's Vineyard is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Martha's Vineyard, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Martha's Vineyard hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
