Suite was Sweet

The suite with private balcony overlooking the city was worth it! I rarely pay for the nicest room on property when I travel but this room was perfect. The Air Conditioning was also very strong. Breakfast was serviceable and a cheap add on at booking (check the rates, it was $6 more with our room but $14+ with others)

Great location, helpful staff!

We loved this hotel, and it’s convenience to the train station and many restaurants. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Note: the pool is not included in your stay, and some rooms have no elevator access, so be mindful when booking.

Nice hotel

Great location right next to the train station. Be sure to go down the escalator and not the stairs as they are a challenge with luggage. Easy to walk around the city from here. Room was great- we got a jr suite for extra space and it was perfect!

During our recent trip, we visited many different places—and I can confidently say that Alex Hotel was the best. The staff were very helpful, the location was fantastic (right across from the station), and the hotel was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent as well. The only issue we encountered was with the spa. There was a young Chinese couple with a newborn baby wearing a diaper in the spa area. They brought the baby into the jacuzzi. Out of courtesy, we left the jacuzzi area and waited until they were finished. However, after they left and we entered the jacuzzi, we noticed something at the bottom of the water. We were quite certain of what it was, so we left immediately. I hope the hotel considers implementing a policy to restrict access to the spa for babies or young children in diapers, to ensure hygiene and comfort for all guests.

Alex Hotel was friendly with a good room and nice breakfast. Gym facility was also good. Reception looked after our bags when early for check in and offered water on a hot day.
