Overall this is a very nice place to stay. Only one of the two elevators was working which was a minor inconvenience at times. I wish the hot tub / pool had late hours as we would have wanted to use the hot tub later at night. There was an unpleasant chemical smell in the parking garage elevator, but that was tolerable.

The parking assistance staff great. All the staff was great. I was looking forward getting the beach towel bag and never received one. That was the only disappointment.

the view from the 12th floor was phenomenal. We enjoyed that there was actually room to move around on the balcony, with a nice sized table to have coffee and breakfast. The reception staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the large bathroom, with enough cabinet and counterspace to accommodate a longer stay. The downside was that for such a large bathroom, the lighting was very poor. My husband and I both felt there should be more lighting, or brighter bulbs. Although I do enjoy a softer mattress, the one we had was so soft, each movement of our arms or legs sunk into the mattress - and we're not vey large people. I would recommend against staying there if you have back problems.

My family lives around an hour and 15 min from Marco Island and so, we venture to this area multiple times though-out the year. This resort is excellent , it’s clean and quiet and walking distance from the beach. Room was clean. I am not sure why all of the bad reviews, but the place is great.

Frustrating start

Unfortunately when we tried to check in they had no record of our reservation. It took us an hour to finally get things sorted out. Very frustrating. Once we got to the room, accommodations were nice. Good view and great location.

Amazing place to just unwind and relax. Beach is within a 2 minute walking distance. Tarpon staff was amazing. Surround area was quiet, a lot of dinning options and best of all absolutely no traffic what so ever. Will return back to property my next stay on the island.

Overall great stay. Perfect location for my family of 4 teenagers, my husband and I. At first, the lobby is not as inviting. Perhaps a big vase of flowers could warm up the space. Loved the rooms, mattress was a bit too soft. Super clean and new fresh white bath towels. There were plenty of poolside chairs and beach chairs with umbrellas at no extra cost! This was a real bonus for us! I would recommend management to place water coolers with fresh fruit and ice available for guests throughout the property: lobby, beach bar. It adds such a nice touch. The valet service was ok. I don’t think it is necessary and could save hotel cost. And the uncomfortable feeling of not having cash to tip every time they drove your car around front. Overall wonderful stay!
