Basic stay but whatever needed
Stayed here for a concert at the co-op live was a tram over the road a short distance away but we decided to give it a walk first as we hadn’t been there before, the signs say 10 minute walk but it was actually more like 20-25 minutes. And to walk the long way around takes even longer. Anyway we caught the tram back to the hotel and then once at the arena later that night we got the tram back to the arena. It was busy as expected but quicker than walking. We did however walk back again to the hotel a different way after the concert which worked out a lot quicker. The hotel room is basic you have a bed (twin) for us which was very close together, separate shower and toilet and the sink is in the room itself. No kettle or coffee/tea making facilities which we knew about. You can buy a tray for this for £3.50 from reception. They have basic food in the hotel cooked on request. Breakfast was a basic continental, although there wasn’t really enough seating space to cater for everyone. I would stay here again just for how easy is it for the arena, although there is very little amenities around the arena for food and drink, I won’t be going back to that arena if I can help it. They need to build more hotels and food facilities as there is only a Asda and McDonald’s but it’s a fair walk. The hotel is walking distance from Piccadilly station but getting The tram would be easier we just walked to see what was about.
