Sofa bed absolutely terrible

The room was amazing, the view of cricket grounds was just superb, the weather was super hot wish we booked another night BUT problem was sofa bed worst night sleep on that ever.. booked room for 3 ppl, 2 singles and sofa bed.. the beds just great but me on sofa bed was misserable the mattress on it was so thin could feel the bed bars, took mattress put in floor to see if better, but no mattress was lumpy as hell ..why such good quality hotel have such bad sofa beds wat a let down, and also 3 guests but only 2 cups, 2 glass, 2 teaspoons beds had 2 pillows sofabed had 1 .. nothin major that tho but its just common sense

6.30am Workmen

2 night relaxing stay was interrupted on both mornings by the neighbouring workmen starting work at 6.30am right outside our window. It was loud enough to wake us and keep us awake. Went to breakfast at 7am on both days as we were up but that was also slightly disappointing. It was dead at that time but the food had clearly been sat there since 6am so was visibly not fresh. On the plus side the staff were excellent and the cricket event we attended was brilliantly organised.

Really good hotel. Perfect location for the cricket. Car park was very handy. The breakfast was included in the price and was very nice. Good tea/coffee selection in the room. Disappointed no water which I’d expect in a Hilton.

Hilton for Six….

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful in explaining how the hotel worked. Rooms clean and modern. Central location for our trip. Breakfast was fantastic, loads of choice and all very good quality.

Accidentally leave something you wont get it back

The hotel itself was great, the check in clerk was really friendly and helpful and the view over the pitch was amazing to wake up to. My issue came the next day. I checked out and got to my office realising i had left my head phones on the desk in the room after taking a call on my way out - I checked my headphones location tracker and could see they were still in the room. I called the hotel and was told someone would call me back. I ended up having to ring twice over the next ffew days as i hadnt heard anything. I was finally told that nothing had been found. I checked my tracker again and could see that they had been removed/reset from my account a few hours after i had checked out. Meaning someone else had linked them to their account. The only people that would have been in the room (considering check in is in the afternoon) would have been the housekeeping staff. If you accidentally forget anything here, You will have no hope getting it back from this hotel. Very disappointed at the dishonest nature of staff.
