Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was okay but not great!
This was a nice place but noisy. We could hear our neighbors talking and the people downstairs slammed their door every time they left. The floor was not very clean. We did not get the room that was shown on Hotel.com. There should be a disclaimer or warning that some of the rooms have steep stairs going up to them like ours. Because of the noise - not worth the money we spent on the room.
We had a great stay in one of the studio units. The property is easy to find, parking was super easy, and check-in was hassle-free. The unit itself was small but had everything we needed for our stay. You are within driving distance of the city center, the mountain, and the lakes. Beautiful and quiet property. We would definitely come back!
We were very disappointed with our room. The room had no charm at all. No ice in the ice maker, very minimal kitchen items. Couldn’t open the shutters in the window. It was extremely hot in the upstairs bedroom. It was just basically a shell. We wanted to talk to someone on the property when we had some issues… but there isn’t anyone there. You have to call them. I’m sorry to say but we won’t be returning.
Love the classic alpine cabins, the area is stunning, we had a wonderful stay!

Acceptable for cheapest room. Horrible shower.
Decent cheap hotel. Bed good, kitchen acceptable, TV/couch bad, shower unacceptable. I've stayed in outdoor camps with a better shower--absolutely no pressure and either extremely hot or cold.
I would not recommend unless it's by far your cheapest option, and you need something pet friendly.
Old property. Awkwardly split rooms and no updates. Obvious spots were acceptably clean, but don't look beyond the countertops...
No AC could be a problem in summer. I can see a number of potential issues with winter stays.
I would recommend spending the extra $50-100 per night and staying anywhere else in Mammoth.
The area was nice and the room cozy but the bed was awful. I slept on a cot the night before that was more comfortable. Maybe purchase new mattresses for the room to have it perfect.
