The hotel was only a short walk from a Metro station, giving easy access to the city centre. As this was my first visit I asked for information re transport from the airport to the hotel but was not told about the shuttle bus. The room was let down by poor wardrobe facilities and lack of hot drink making utensils. That said, it was good value.

The hotel was ideal , a few minutes from the airport with transfer provided. Away from the hustle bustle of the very busy city centre this was situated in a quiet residential suburb which had everything we needed, including cafes, bars and most anything you could think of. It also gave you an idea of the Spanish way of life. The hotel pool was very much appreciated with the recent warm weather.

No in room coffee. Early flight and just needed a cup of coffee…not enough time for the breakfast buffet. I was going to pay for one cup of coffee and was confronted by the attendant that my stay didn’t include the buffet. I told her I wanted to pay for the coffee and she proceeded to say, as a “courtesy,” she would allow me to take one. Either buy the buffet so you can make a coffee or don’t have coffee. Was embarrassing.

It was a short stay to wait and sleep between my two flights at the madrid airport. The shuttle was free and easy to find. The bed was comfy and my two sons were glad to sleep in a bunk bed. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great.
