Great location, very nice room and amenities. Beware of the parking! Lot under the hotel nothing less than terrifying. Ceilings are incredibly low, spots are small, and people literally get stuck down there.

The view of the Capitol building from our room was fantastic. Staff were so accommodating. When we were upgraded to a Capitol view and got to our room, it was on the opposite side of the building. I called the front desk and by the time we got down the the lobby, Bishop had new keys waiting for me. Also, the walk two blocks down to the Overture Center was so convenient and gorgeous.

A good place to stay for my one-night overnight in Madison. The staff is super helpful. I was very impressed to learn that when I arrived at the airport too late to catch the hotel’s shuttle, they paid for my cab ride (the hotel apparently has an agreement with certain of the cab companies for this). Everything was 5-star except that my room was kind of weird. It had no windows, only a sliding glass door that opened right onto the indoor pool area. Meaning that the room was very dark unless I wanted to open up the drapes and have the people in the pool area look in. Other than that, the room was big and clean.

While the hotel has its age, it is clean, spacious and in the great location - right next to the capitol with the farmers market and a multitude of restaurants and cafes all within walking distance.
