the stay was good.

I stayed one night and the hotel was just fine. Additionally there are at least two restaurants within walking distance. And one of them is a Brown Derby, which was quite tasty. Would have no problem staying at this hotel again in the future. No complaints.

The hotel was conveniently located in proximity to restaurants and major road ways. I liked that it was pet friendly. The room was clean and quiet but furniture had visible wear and the room had a smell. Staff was very nice. Overall for the price I would stay again.

The room was terrible. There were multiple stains on the carpet and chair. The bed was broken. There was chipped paint everywhere. Very small room. The staff did not care. They said they would put a towel between the bed and wall so it didn't hit the wall. The room smelled like smoke. It was a terrible experience. Managemebt did not call me back. The front desk clerk did discount the room at check out but I would not recommend this hotel. There are so many nicer places to stay nereby.

We loved our stay but there was a clogged drain in the tub the entire visit and no housekeeping. You had to put a tag on your door which no one told us about. Not a usual hotel standard so how are guests to know? A heads up when we checked in would be helpful. The room was decorated in the 1980's (Think Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances) - it is in desperate need of an update. The property is beautiful and the hotel has great potential - we hope they make updates or it will be a true loss. They don't make places like this anymore - it has the potential to be a treasure but feels like it has been forgotten.

Excellent

This was our return trip on this vacation. Our second stay at this hotel in one week. Due to the inconvenience of a buzzing in the smoke alarm in our room, the staff upgraded our room for this return trip. The room was very nice, as expected due to our previous experience here. Here. Pool was enjoyable, The breakfast was good. Again, I only give a breakfast and excellent if it includes biscuits and gravy. This breakfast included biscuits but no gravy, however at many other options. The location is excellent. Close to the highway and many restaurants, gas stations, and a nice coffee shop called the nervous dog. If I was nitpicking, I would say the shower head in the shower utilized the wrong angle of connection, and therefore the water that was leaking from that joint had destroyed a lot of the drywall above the shower. However, that is the only item that I would think needed to be different in our entire stay, and in this room. We would recommend this hotel. Nicole at the front desk was excellent and very helpful. Her demeanor was professional, courteous, and sincere.

It was nice to enter a clean room and have Dove shampoo/conditioner and soap -- it smells good. In addition, the towels had a more fresh smell instead of the typical hotel towel smell (if you know what I mean)???
