Lovely Hotel in a great area. The restaurant was amazing. Quiet and clean room.

Nice place to stay right now they’re working construction on the opposite side of the street so be prepared to hear beeping noises at 6 AM Monday through Friday. Also stairs are very creaky. I know it’s an old house but everybody would know if you’re coming or going because it is extremely loud and does not seem safe.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff was on the phone. There was no eye contact, greeting, or acknowledgment of our presence, so we chose to sit and wait patiently until the call was completed. Even after finishing the call, the staff member did not greet us or invite us to check in. I ultimately approached the desk myself, said hello, and asked to check in. Overall, the interaction felt cold and unfriendly. Our room was located on the ground floor next to an exterior entrance, which was convenient for unloading luggage from the parking lot. However, I noticed that the floor appeared dirty, with visible hair and debris that suggested it had not been thoroughly cleaned. The beds, fortunately, looked clean and well made. Throughout the night, the room's proximity to the exterior entrance became a significant issue. I was awakened at approximately 11:00 p.m., 1:00 a.m., and 3:00 a.m. by the door opening and slamming shut as other guests entered and exited the property. While the room location was convenient for access, the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service upon arrival, and repeated sleep disruptions made for a disappointing stay.

We stayed at ten hotels on our recent road trip, and this was out favorite! The breakfast was varied each day, and the attendant was attentive and kept the food trays filled. My husband cannot eat gluten, and there were many gluten-free options. We were traveling with our teen grandson and liked the suite style of the room. We will stay here again the next time we visit nearby relatives.
