I stayed 6 days. On the 7th day they started tearing off the roof. I'm glad I left, they were throwing everything off the roof on to vehicles below ! The room smelled like cigarettes and I don't smoke! Live and learn...
This was a decent place for a short stay in Louisville however i found some of the front desk staff a bit absent minded with certain questions and help.
Other than this, there wasn't much more i can add except in future they need to inform guests of why fees are taken from cards if "reserve now, pay later" options are chosen!
Room was nice, had a few inconveniences, such as the light switch did not work beside the door, and the shower door you had to slam to close fully, other then those issues the room was amazing
Coffee machine was broken in the “breakfast area”, on Monday morning the “breakfast” was 1 bagel and 3 pieces of bread and no fruit. The plug for our sink was missing. 2 light bulbs over our sink were out and didn’t get replaced despite 2 requests. We were greeted by staff taking a break on the front couch customer area, spilling food crumbs all over. Subsequent approaches to the hotel were met by staff smoking right outside the doors. Front doors constantly open as the only air movement in the lobby.
Had an extended visit here as result of work - cannot recommend. See below:
1) Room cards consistently went out. So did the door mechanism in general. Minor inconvenience.
2) Placed a”Do Not Disturb” card on door. Still had maids knock asking for room cleaning consistently. Part of the issue may be that they don’t speak a lick of English. Major inconvenience.
3) Management is poor. It’s a small establishment - specifically requested manager to ensure I was not disturbed. Did not happen. Observed him sitting outside on phone. Asked to speak to owner/higher management. Stated that hotel ownership is “in process of transition”.
Facilities are clean. But there are a ton of hotel options. Cannot recommend.

Rooms were musty & smelled of cigarettes 1st floor was the worst moved to 3rd floor was better but smelled of cigarettes rooms were damp as though the ac unit was not de humidifing properly also need ear plugs when operating the bathroom exhaust fan, we were thinking maybe being pet friendly maybe the overly damp 1st floor carpet had been shampooed which smelled of chemicals & dampness, will not stay at a pet friendly hotel again
unknown additional $100 fee made at the desk last minute to reserve the room. non-negotiable. the room smelled like cigarettes despite the fee being about a no cigarette policy. ceiling fan had cobwebs and dirt.
Is always affordable and cleaner than most at that price range.
Hallway is extremely hot on the way to the room.
Carpet is badly outdated and in need of deep cleaning and or repair.
The breakfast is very basic and could use a few more hot items bit over all good.

Asked for a room 1st floor and was put on 2nd floor being disabled. The hotel was not at all busy or full.Parking lot had a few cars in it.I told the guy at check in i requested a 1st floor that didn't matter. The tv was to complicated to work had to go to front desk ask how you work the tv.I won't come back here
