Room was clean. We had a Deluxe room which was still very tiny. Location was prime being walking distance to the tube, shops, restaurants, and sightseeing. On the other hand for a "5-star" hotel, the service and staff (excluding the cleaning staff - they were great) was on the equivalent of a 2-star hotel. You always felt like you were bothering them. Checking in felt like a disservice to the man behind the counter. Nobody had a smile on their face. I think I got a total of 3 smiles in 5 days. We called about a thermostat issue, nobody ever showed up. At that point, I think we just gave up on thinking anybody would be helpful.

An impeccable establishment in the heart of Mayfair. Safe, secure and within walking distance to all of lifes adventures in and around London. When I recently had issues with the AC, I was swiftly upgraded to another room in the hotel. Travelled to London in August the last 3 years…each stay has been at this beautiful Townhouse.
