Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
Cleaning Staff need supervision
We have never been in a Best Western that was as poorly cleaned and maintained as this one.
Check in: told original Rm had problem put in Rm 109 for 1 night.
Wed Apr 30: Returned to hotel at 1900 to find Rm 112 had not been cleaned, cups & glasses taken to front desk requesting clean towels, glasses & cups. Asked if we put sign on door, there was no sign in our Rm. Sign delivered the next day.
Thur May 1: Fridge not wkg. Front desk & request get fridge fixed & request a meeting with manager. Told they would advise her.
Sat May 3: English breakfast tea bags not replaced
Sun May 4: To front desk for toilet paper - no extra roll left in Rm
Sat May 10: To front desk 1900 to get clean cups and glasses only dirty ones left in Rm
During rest of stay:
- only peppermint and green tea left
- Fridge requires reset at plug off and on
- Floors not vacumed,
- Baseboards not cleaned,
- Table tops sometimes cleaned
- Once in a while there is a bag in garbage bucket
The hallway and Rm carpets are stained and need deep cleaning.
The tiles on the floor in the bath Rm need cementing down and grouting in both of the Rm’s we stay in.
Stair case was not cleaned the first week we were there. There was a spiders nest in the corner of the 1st floor and a bandaid on the stair for the whole 1st week of our visit.
This is a great location right across from the Piccadilly line close to airport & downtown - But it needs some real work
