The good and the bad

The good- staff super friendly. Room small but nice. Bed great. Bathroom great. Property new. The bad- the AC. While it is usually not hot in London it was when I was there nd hotel should be prepared. Room was at 82 degrees for a while. They were slow in helping. Second, nothing really near hotel including tube (15 minute walk). Third, right after being told how great in house food was turns out doesn’t open til 5 including room service.

The staff was very nice and had great customer service. The room was fine. It was clean and had what we needed. It’s in a great area. I love the neighborhood! I just wish the ventilation was better and window could be open. There’s no fan to turn on and off in our room and after we showered it felt so humid and damp and stuffy.

We absolutely loved this hotel! It was so quirky and full of things to look at! You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the decor. The lobby area was welcoming and spacious, a nice space to hang out and have a drink. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean, extremely comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us - about a 35 min walk to the Emirates Stadium, where we went to see a concert. I’d definitely stay here again. I wish all hotels were this awesome! The one negative was the service in the restaurant. There were only 5 tables filled (including us) and the wait for service and food was ridiculous. That said, the cocktails were lovely and the food was very nice, when it eventually arrived!

The hotel has a stylish, quirky charm and the rooms are lovely overall. However, there were a few small issues that could be improved. The coffee mugs provided were too tall to fit under the Nespresso machine, and there were no complimentary snacks like small biscuits typically found near the kettle, which felt like a missed touch. One of the main inconveniences was the wardrobe light, which wouldn’t turn off and emitted light throughout the night. The lamps in the room also aren’t connected to a central switch, so you have to walk around to turn off all three individually. The pillows were far too soft and flimsy for my liking — while I appreciate that the bed had six pillows (perhaps a bit excessive), I would have preferred at least one medium-support option. The hotel did offer a complimentary 1-hour late check-out, and everything else during the stay was pleasant. Just a note: the entrance is tucked away on a side street rather than the main road, which could be a bit confusing on arrival. That said, for what I paid — nearly £270 for one night — I’d probably stay elsewhere next time
