the staff were very helpful , the hotel is only 2 minutes from the Ilford Station to the Elizabeth line so was very easy getting into Central London even with the transit strike going on

The false narrative about the parking because the first day went i got a ticket for me parking in front of the hotel to go on booking because no parking was available
The staff was asking deposite I don't know why ? I already pay the money through the Expedia app I came with my partner on that time asking me deposit my phone switch off but it was disgusting 😞
The room is not as promised at all on a different site staff were so rude and disrespectful told me girlfriend shut up due to her being upset that they supprised a deposit when we arrived £100 on a £45 room just really agrressive in a terrible area will not stay again wouldn’t recommend
Terrible from start to finish.
Called and asked for a parking space . We got there and they were rude and said no spaces.we had to park 2 miles away as we got back the three empty spaces weee allotted to them
No mention. Of needing a physical card to pay a deposit we had no card so they were happy to us not stay there and not refund us. We had to ask a stranger to pay for our deposit.
Rooms were dirty and we think they had drugs all over the floor.

First of all the woman at the counter was not helpful, she didn’t have answers to basic questions. I wasn’t even given a bill or receipt on leaving, my security deposit hasn’t been credited to me till now even after so many days of checkout, what kind of hotel is this that it takes the security deposit for so many days and there is no refund till now. Anyone not willing to lose their money should not book this hotel. The staff especially the female ones seems very unaware, unhelpful and clearly not trained for hospitality. Where is my security deposit?
The room was good. The bed was very uncomfortable though and there was dust and bugs on the headboard.
I booked this for the free parking but for 30 rooms they only have 3 parking spaces
And a possibility of another 5 on the opposite of the road. Of course all spaces were taken so I couldn't park there.

My overall rating is Poor service/system! And I am not happy about the 100pd deposit policy. I didn’t read that article anywhere during my bookings; what is not ok for me are: 1. How surprised I was when I was told at the check-in that I need to pay the deposit (what will have happened if I didn’t have that in my account). 2. The deposit was then taken from my account “immediately”, why can’t it be returned also “immediately” and it has to take some days? That is a silly system. This is what may not make me want to be in a place like that again. 3. The staff don’t really have time to talk/explain things well to customers according to my observation. I need my 100p, you took it; I should not be the one to chase my bank to refund
I stayed at lucky 8 with my brother for my birthday for 2 nights. I had an absolutely terrible time! The room was filthy and It had silver fish under the sheets! Absolutely disgusting and when we were shown towards the room I asked the staff member Steve if they had condiments and shampoo etc and he replied saying 'we do not provide condoms' here' I was outraged as he knew it was my brother in the twin room I booked with my brother. There were rats outside. People screaming and shouting. The room stank especially the bathroom. And ontop of it all they took £100 deposit on top of the payment for the stay and was told it would be given back after 36 hours after our stay, and it hasn't been reembersed after over a week ago! Do no stay there under any circumstances. Disgraceful
I had to put down £100 security deposit which was returned a week later. Will Hotel.com refunding ms. The interest lost or the hotel? I will not be staying there again. Please state in bold letters on your site that you will have to put down £100 security deposit
