I have stayed at LSE Rosebery Hall before. It's cheap for a single room (rather than hostel dorm). The room is basic. The showers are good (shared). The breakfast is excellent! Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms or kitchens need a drinking vessel of some kind. There were several vermin traps in the corridors and communal areas which was a bit off-putting. But I'd stay again. Area is excellent.

A great value way to stay in London and breakfast being included in the price is a real bonus. Accommodation is basic but I wasn't expecting otherwise. Great bus routes and Exmouth Market with all the eateries made the location great too

Rosebery Hall provides a great breakfast and can offer excellent value for money for a stay in central London. Rooms are quite basic, with no TV or coffee making facilities, and the shared kitchens don't always have mugs, glasses, etc. (and don't provide tea, coffee or milk). My bed felt like it was missing a few springs and there was only one, quite thin pillow, but I slept well enough. The shared shower/WC was a little odd, with the shower doors only going to shoulder height, and then a shower curtain on the inside of the door. You had to hang your clothing over the door (no pegs or dry place to put them inside), and any footwear outside in the communal area. I think my landing was single sex (men only) but there was nothing to stop anyone trying to use facilities on other floors. The Hall sits on frequent bus routes and has a TfL cycle hire station close by (Hardwick Street), but is a few minutes' walk from the nearest tube (Angel). There are plenty of pubs, cafes and convenience stores nearby.

For the price, location, and breakfast included, you really can’t beat this. The entire building, including the single twin room, is extremely outdated, but clean. The shared toilet and shower were also very old but clean. The building is confusing to navigate and front desk staff weren’t very friendly or helpful, but it’s a solid alternative to a hostel for a short stay in London, especially if you want your own room for a reasonable price.

Very nice accomodation for a low budget stay. Only down side really were the very hear-through windows and doors, but sleeping with earplugs helped a lot!

My stay The LSE Roseberry was very comfortable. . I didn’t like it that you couldn’t extend your stay without going to another website. Be aware that the hot water is really hot. I’m in my 70s and it actually burned my face. Breakfast was great.
