Nice spot to sleep if you are Spending the day in Port Stanley. Only thing I wasn’t happy about was having to park far away from the door when I had bikes on the bike rack. They had parking in front which was empty, but reserved for VIPs. We checked in after 10:00 PM. Probably pretty safe they would be empty all night!

St. Thomas gem

Stayed at this lovely, clean and welcoming hotel for 3 nights. Made use of the small indoor pool and spa, enjoyed the self serve breakfast, lots of choices. Great location for visiting London and Port Stanley (30 mins and 15 mins away). A few nice walks in local parks, Pinafore has a lakefront walk and the elevated park will give a great foliage view in a few weeks.

We arrived at the hotel around 1pm, and was told our hotel was not ready yet so we waited at the lobby. I was sitting on the couch with my eldest while my husband was at the table with my five year old then I heard the front desk man yelled "no!" I looked up and saw my five year old sitting nice, happily stimming (shes autistic!) while holding a plastic sign they had at the table! My husband was standing right next to her! I asked my husband what she did and he said absolutely nothing except she's being a little bit loud in an absolutely empty lobby! Its sad that despite all the autism awareness campaign, Holiday Inn, who prides itself for being "kid preferred" and family friendly, still remains uneducated, and hires people who choose to be unkind! I informed him she has autism, and that even if he yells at her, she will not understand. He said he did it because what shes playing with was made of glass. it was a plastic sign. Maybe if you don't want it to be touched, you shouldnt have it out! Also, you can politely talk to us parents, instead of yelling at our child and making us feel like were doing nothing! When asked how much longer we have to wait, he said he has no idea but will text us. We packed our suitcases back to the car and left! Got a call at 3pm. But we didnt go back til past 8. Thank goodness it was a different person, who has better customer service skills! We wanted to stay somewhere else, but it was too late to get a refund. Not coming back!

Very accomidating, wonderful staff, clean and enjoyable for a small getaway as newly weds. Would definitely stay again in the future! Jordan was a very sweet guy we saw him in the hall and asked him to change our garbages in the room he was happy to help even with our room not being on his list.

Awesome Stay and Hotel

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The hotel was very clean, the room was nice, 2 queen beds were comfy, along with the sofa bed for our family of 5 was perfect. The bathroom very clean, the dove body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash was great to have in the washroom. The gym, pool and hot tub was fantastic - the kids really enjoyed it. Breakfast was a great asset, the only reason why I took 1 mark away, was because of the breakfast time which was from 6am to 9:30am - a bit of a short time for breakfast seeing that some people may only be waking up at that night after going around the town. Otherwise, everything at the hotel was great, was very pleased with it. The lobby and breakfast areas were really nice and it was a bonus to be attached to a plaza that had a mini mall, grocery store and stand alone stores such as Giant Tiger, Dollarama. Everything was great. One comment, it would be great if this hotel chain opened up the option of visa debit payments, as many hotels are doing this now and is a convenient and cost efficient way for many.

Oh it was absolutely beautiful nice facility well taken care of we definitely enjoyed it on the pool and having laundry facilities and then the breakfast in the morning outstanding was beyond what I could have imagined exactly what I needed for the weekend and each room has the microwave very convenient.
