Our stay was disappointing due to several issues. Upon arrival, we had requested a baby cot, but there was an adult bed in the room instead—even though the reception had confirmed the cot beforehand. It took nearly two hours and 3–4 visits to the reception before we finally received the cot, but it came without a mattress, making it completely unusable. We then asked to have the adult bed back so one of us could sleep there, which again took another two hours and several more trips to reception, despite repeated promises that it would be fixed “within 10–15 minutes.” The room itself also had problems: the window could not be opened, making the air stuffy and humid—especially after using the shower, since the ventilation was poor. The air conditioning didn’t work properly either, so it got quite warm and uncomfortable. Lastly, we found an old, dirty slipper under the bed, though apart from that, the room appeared reasonably clean and tidy.

Room temp fine. Could do with a slight makeover, when you do, recommend the carpets be replaced by wooden flooring..Very conveniently located. The Bugis Resto has good Singaporean food but not the atmosphere. Young wait staff keen but not skilled. Has a cafeteria feel. The Hainan chicken rice was credible effort. Perhaps some fun posters from Bugis Street and highlighting Singapore Street food could add a bit of colour.

Lady at reception on our arrival was very friendly and gave us a voucher for a complimentary breakfast. There was a fantastic choice for breakfast however the 'hot' food was not hot..it was barely warm at best. Towels were changed every day even though we had a sign on the door stating 'privacy' as we do not require them to be changed everyday. Reception and restaurant are modern but rooms are tired and dated...stayed here last year and had a comfortable bed, however, this year mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. Hotel is in a great location for subway station

Someone’s used flannel left in shower area suggesting it had not been cleaned properly. Light switches between beds almost impossible to operate. Lack of heated towel rail means towels used at night remain damp for following morning. No ventilation in bathroom so mirror very steamed up.

Room had flickering light, hanger still on bathroom door and the do not disturb electric gadget with tv etc was not working. We only stayed one night and had maid knocking the door in the morning to clean. Also took ages to check in. It was not a cheap stay either!

I loved our short stay. The room was clean and comfortable so was our bathroom. The and coffee in room as expected. Slightly disappointed by the empty shampoo and body wash bottles. I had to use the soap bar for my shower which made my skin dry. Breakfast was good too. There was a good selection of cooked breakfast cereal pastries etc. Coffee was pleasantly good too!

Beds, shower and toilet were clean but coffee on the walls, tiles had blackened grout in places. Rust shower heads. Breakfast had a variety of choices however finding a clean table with cutlery and napkins proved difficult at times. A hotel in need of upgrading as it’s looking tired on the outside and in parts on the inside too.

Staff were great, really helpful. Hotel is in good location. Interior is very dated and needing investment as some of the room fixings are damaged, carpet worn, and generally tired. Room was clean and food good. Would stay again if condition of rooms improved.
