The room was very old and we needed shower repair and air conditioner repair. Directions to stairs were not very clear at all. Also, way too many student groups created very busy lobby area all the time and getting on the elevators was almost impossible at times. Irish Pub kitchen closes too early. 9:45PM closed.

Beds were hard and a little uncomfortable, clean and tidy, no shampoo in bathroom and when requested milk for a cup of tea following morning it didn't arrive bad start to the day, on return all had been replenished with a little extra, had to complain though which is not something i like to do

Comfortable and clean and convenient for transport links and central and the deal I had was good value. Check in was a little frustrating as I had checked in on line as requested but it still took about 10 minutes before I received my key.

We had sent in a request with online check-in, which we had confirmed on the day of arriving (where we had confirmation that it was done for us), that our two rooms needed to be near each other, however once we came to collect our room keys, they had us on separate floors. It took some time to sort, but the staff at the desk eventually managed to sort this for us so that we could get into our rooms. Apart from this, we had a nice stay and we would return.

Brilliant 4 Star service

This is an old school 4 Star. Wow who knew room service still existed so well! Many 4 stars technically have it but it’s rather feeble in practice. This hotel still has it - enjoyed a good standard burger in my room:). Nice telly size and a bath too which was great for my sore back. Keep it up Tara you can keep your walk in showers other hotels- the Tara maybe a little old in places but it’s quiet, comfy and just what a 4 star should be

A great choice of hotels in London.

A nice hotel with option to get the room early or stay late; offered comfort and a great breakfast. Large lobby with comfortable seating as we waited for our transportation. Staff were so helpful. In close proximity to several points of interest.
