The bus from the Southampton cruise terminal arrived almost 24 hours prior to my departure. I am one of the most frugal persons I know, but since I had to run into London a couple of times before my departure, and because the Heathrow tube station was an easy walk from the hotel (and from the hotel to my gate the next morning was even easier), I decided it would be worth the premium over the off-site hotels by the time I factored in the cost of the transportation between the hotel and Heathrow or another tube station, or even worse, a cab from the hotel to where I was going in London. I arrived well before check-in time, but they allowed me to check in early!

Wedding Anniversary

Hotel is in a great position just walk straight out onto the concourse. Signage to find the hotel not so good could do with an illuminated sign. You can’t see the sign from the outside until you are right upon it. Even the signage in the arrivals hall is difficult to find. Otherwise once you are there it’s great. Everything you need for one night.

The Aerotel London is situated perfectly for arriving or departing passengers. Departure check-ins are no more than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms, while small, are very comfortable for those wanting a good night's sleep.
