Lovely break

Took my young nephews (3 and 1) for a 2 night break to ride the great orme tramway. Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming to them when the average age was collecting their pension. The room was big, clean and comfy. The hotel is in a great location with everything within walking distance.

We had such a lovely stay, for the price we paid for the room we were bowled over with the size of room, amenities available to us- eg pool, breakfast, fresh towels and bed made every day We had a gorgeous view of the Great Orme and found the hotel ideally located for attractions and were able to walk to every part of Llandudno we wanted to visit, the staff were extremely pleasant and made us feel comfortable

The best location right along the Promanade, Plenty of free street parking alongside the hotel (3.30pm to 10.30am), very helpful and chatty staff, meals very good, rooms big and beds good. Free entertainment twice per week. 5 mins walk to the pier. The overall conclusion was this being an excellent choice of hotel and VERY reasonably priced.

Negatives... Some additional staff needed. Waiting time at bar was slow even with no queue, kitchen calls got priority even when being served. Parking is a mojor issue even when prebooked and attitude to offering an alternative was poor. Dropped 1 star for this. Positive... Overall though a great location and a nice hotel. Good food, recommend their breakfast. Just 100 yards from town and overlooking the coast, beach.

Just got back from 2 nights away at the Marine. Fantasic old school hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The locaton is great as the hotel is opposite the beach. The shops are nearby. Breakfast was great. Room was a decent size ,the bed was amazing. Only slight grumble was the bathroom was a bit cramped. But all in all i would higjly recommend it.

Booked two rooms - the room my son stayed in was very cold whereas mine was almost too hot. I asked the Hotel about car parking; they offer a very small car park on first-come-first-served basis @£10 overnight. They offered contact to another Hotel's car-park - one assumes similarly priced. Upon arrival we found that there was PLENTY of on-street parking (albeit a 2-3 minute walk) with negligible / free overnight cost Pay-By-Phone or at meters. Otherwise facilities and breakfast were great.

Good old fashioned hospitality

Grateful for parking on site. Breakfast was perfect. Room adequate for my needs (shower not the best but ok). Abbie (and Pete) on the bar at night were very hospitable to myself and a large group of regulars. Made my hotel stay quite enjoyable
