Clean room, No Wi-Fi, No restaurant, looks like it has been closed for some time, except when used for breakfast, pile of mattresses in reception area bit off putting, parking for bikers was excellent with the ability to park in a secure area provided by staff. Reception was a bit confusing would have liked to have been informed about how the Breakfast worked and what time etc. I would say in its heyday it was an impressive place. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, you get a clean room, helpful staff and secure bike parking plus its great value.

Firstly the SMELL OF SEWERS was overpowering. Taking freezing cold showers takes a bit getting used to. I had booked 3 nights I was so disgusted with the smell and cold water I checked out after 2 nights I told the Asian man at the reception that he can use the money I paid for the 3rd night to get his Boiler Fixed. Stay if you have more money than sense!

Check in was quick and easy, the room was clean but there was very little space and no coat hooks or hooks for towels in bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable (seemed old) and the single bed was very squeaky and made lots of noise every time my son moved. The hotel is dog friendly but costs an extra £10 per night. There was very little space for our dogs bed. The room was also very warm. The carpet on the stairs looked like it had not been hoovered in a long time.
