Lions Bay Vacation Packages

The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walking to the downtown core, and it's located in a very clean and safe neighborhood. Our room looked right out onto the water, and we took advantage of the new walking/running path that runs alongside the water. We even saw women jogging on the path alone after midnight, so you know it's a safe neighborhood. The room was squeaky clean and well-appointed. Our only complaint was that the room felt rather sparse, and needed more art on the walls or a colored "accent wall" to offset all the gleaming white surfaces. We highly recommend this hotel, and we plan to stay there again. P.S. The bottle of wine in our room that was provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and the wine itself was quite good.

Overall a very nice hotel in a convenient location. Didn't feel "luxury" to me per see, but it was nice. Very clean. The service was attentive and friendly. My only big complaint is a weird one - they had sliding bathroom doors in our room with no locks and at many points they would spontaneously ope while someone was using the toilet, making for an unnecessarily awkward experience. They should change those doors.

Room was clean but the pool was pretty small and the neighborhood wasn’t as nice as I expected. Overall it worked well for us but I might try a different location next time.

The entrance is very weird. The entrance from the main street is the lounge. It is very uncomfortable passing the lounge all the time to go in and out. The most upsetting part is you get denied to enter the hotel that you paid for during weekends because they are holding private events. Bouncers stop you and tell you go to the back door!!! Also early in the morning, the lounge is closed so you can't go out to the main street. You have to go out thru the back door. If I knew this, I wouldn't had booked this hotel. The picture of this hotel is misleading. The entrance of the main picture is Paradox lounge that you get denied to enter by bouncers.

The hotel needed some work on the outside. The inside had been refurbished for the upcoming Fifa games. The room was cozy and bright with the most comfortable bed my husband & I have ever slept in. The room was very clean, but modest. We also had a view of the Vancouver skyline from our 3rd floor window. Hondra, the manager, was very gracious and helpful upon our arrival and throughout our 4 day stay. She was very available, though not always onsite. We had privacy and quiet. The hotel is located in the Vancouver suburb of Collingswood. It has a lowkey vibe which was wonderful to return to after a busy day in the dynamic high energy city. If you are looking for a good budget hotel this is the one.
