Beautiful hotel, wonderful location, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

On the way to Salzburg from Munich, something was wrong with the train that everyone had to get off and figured out our own transportation. Upon arrival at Hotel Stein, my friend and I were hot, exhausted and a bit disheveled. Alexander at the front desk greeted us with ultimate comfort and hospitality. He offered us prosecco (which calmed our nerves) and Mozart chocolates (which cheered our mood significantly), gave us wonderful suggestions of what to do in Salzburg and was just so personable. Over the three days we were there, the most impressive was the professionalism of the staff. The location was superb as well. In the heart of Salzburg, it was easy to walk everywhere but you don’t hear any street noise while inside. Highly recommend!

Home away from home. Fantastic in all of the property we have been in Europe so far. Great place to be!

This was our favorite hotel on our 3 week trip through Austria & Italy. Location was Excellent ... 5 minute walk to old town. Staff were outstanding, very welcoming & helpful!! Room was Great ... large and very comfortable. We HIGHLY recommend this property!!!
