Great stay

Was nice pool was a little cold

The hotel was quiet and the room very spacious. Could use another mirror in the bedroom area. The door was very battered but other than that it was pretty good.

We had items stolen from our vehicle despite parking it right in front of the entrance in front of their cameras, and requesting the staff keep an eye on it because we discovered when we arrived that the lock had stopped working on the top part of the canopy. Somehow the guy managed to not trigger the alarm. When we arrived we saw the security guard talking on his phone as he walked the parking lot. We brought in as much as we could from our vehicle. On the video surveillance the guy climbed in the back of the truck for a couple minutes rummaging around and the security guard did not even notice. TWICE. Right at the front entrance to the hotel. Because we booked through Expedia they could not do anything to support the financial loss. They offered us an extra nights stay but we were travelling through on our way home and could not stay longer. The hotel was very apologetic. It was a series of unfortunate events sadly. Just be aware that the area is really sketchy and stinks of urine outside the hotel. We discovered there is a homeless encampment just a block away in the woods near the parking lot, even with surveillance and security it is an easy target.

Very clean but basic room. Well maintained property. Very quiet and comfortable bed. The restaurant nearby was very good.

Good place to crash for reasonable rates.
