Breakfast area occupied by people in prime seating spots NOT eating. One man was playing with his computer in one of 2 booths before we arrived for breakfast. He was still there when we checked out an hour later. Perhaps some signage to remind people this is not a lounge area? Even better: staff tell these people to move along.

We just stayed one night on our way to Kimberley BC. This hotel is great for an overnight. Easy to get to from the highway and has a decent breakfast in the morning.

Staff very apoachable and very helpful, comfortable beds. Building inside and out well maintained. Only issue i had was the staff member serving the amazing continental breakfast and cleaning the tables WORE the same cloves throughout...think washing hands between would be better then wearing dirty gloves...gloves are meant to changed between each duty...not wear the same glove til your hands get sweaty where you can almost see throu the glove...

Typically when we book the hotel we give a card number and it is booked. The morning of our visit I received an email saying the payment did not go through and my room was going to be cancelled if I did not call. If I was not looking at my emails my room would have been cancelled. This has never happened before. I called a quickly gave them another number however was very clear that at the end of my stay I would like to pay cash. When we checked in we were setting up for a wedding it was late we were visibly hot and tired and during check in someone was stocking the drinks and such and came over to us with 2 cold bottles of water and said would you like? We of course took it thinking wow this is amazing. At time at the hotel again I said I did not want my card to be charged as I was going to pay cash after they said they required a hold which I completely understand. When we checked out I found out that the processed the card they had to refund it which took longer and then I found out we were charged for the 2 waters!!! We did not ask for the water I mentioned it to the lady and she did not do anything about it. I have stayed at the Marriott’s around the country and I have never had this experience. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not stay here again.
