Only one member of staff on reception at check in which meant a wait of 10-15 mins. But staff were helpful when I got there. Rooms were fine. Air conditioning was not up to the job.

Great hotel in the very centre of Leeds. Lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Great base for shopping. 10-15 minute walk to First Direct Arena. Lady on the front desk who checked us in was lovely. Standard room was a great size and had everything required. Very clean. Breakfast was good quality with a wide choice to suit everyone. Gentleman who seated us for breakfast was curt and boarder-line unpleasant.

Fantastic hotel

Beautiful hotel, great location, excellent check in, the comfiest bed ever! The ONLY negative was the noise from outside - shouting and loud music but it is a city centre hotel so it can't be avoided and it didnt stop me sleeping as the bed was like sleeping on clouds!

Room we were given was next to one of the internal generators. We asked about the noise but it was a known issue, rooms 130,230,330,430 are all next to the generators Same goes for rooms 205,305,405 After being told no alternative was available, and trying to check out at almost midnight, a new room was magically available that had no humming duct noise, but the fact it took the effort of packing bags and getting a taxi elsewhere wasn’t good enough from the hotel service point of view. Malmaison used to be ok, it’s premium economy at best these days. Staying at Premier Inn would have probably been better.
