Good standard for reasonable price

Everything one would expect from such a priced hotel. Everything clean, although not brand new but in a good condition. Excellent breakfast, tea and coffee bags in room everyday filled in enough amount. Appreciate openable window in room. Service was very helpful and warm. Only strange function of A/C just cooling or heating upon aouter temperature, not user control.of temperature just on /off manner.

OK but not great...

Rooms could really do with updating. Carpet peeling away from the walls, damage to furniture and cigarette holes in the curtains. Sheet was over the mattress topper, with nothing covering the actual mattress which wasn't particularly clean. It was fine for a night but very basic.
