I stay at this hotel every month for two nights, and unfortunately, there always seems to be some issue. This time, there was no air conditioning for the entire duration of my stay. It was unbearably hot in my one-bedroom suite, and I couldn’t cool down until I resorted to taking a bath in cold water. I couldn’t use the fireplace, had to keep all the blackout curtains closed, and eventually had to leave my room and go back to the casino just to escape the heat.
I repeatedly called the front desk but rarely got a response. When I did, they said they would notify engineering. Engineering came up twice, including once at 12:30 a.m., to tell me it would be fixed the next day—but it never was.
On the positive side, the hotel staff was kind and accommodating despite the inconvenience. They waived the resort fees, gave me a food and beverage credit, and offered an additional gesture for my next visit, which I appreciated.
