Totally comfortable

This hotel is well maintained and conveniently located off strip. The Golden Steer is right next door. The pool left a lot to be desired, and yhe property books public and private events on the property, but that shoild not dissuade you from staying here.

Nice hotel and staff was friendly and welcoming. WiFi sometimes was very slow. Hotel also holds car shows, to which I was able to see a lot of antique cars on display. Hotel is not directly on the strip but you can walk a block over and take the montrail from Sahara hotel or you can walk. The heat was 100 and over and not good.

The signage for checking in is terrible. There is an old sigh that says the lobby is in one building but it has been moved to the other building.getting from the parking garage to your room is a pain. You take one elevator from the garage to get to the lobby area then you have to take a different elevator to get to the rooms above the second floor. There are no signs anywhere that tell you where the pool is. Overall I would say the layout is poor. What used to be the gaming floor is now a convention center. The day we arrived there was some sort of card convention. After a long day of driving we wanted to have a drink so we asked if we could visit the "Center Bar". The front desk staff said we could. After a few minutes a security person showed up and said we had to leave because this was a paid private event. We were not looking at any of the items being sold and had no interest in doing so. The security guard got very rude and became somewhat aggressive. The bartenders told him that their understanding is that guests paying to stay in the hotel are granted access to hotel amenities. He continued to be rude telling us we had to leave, even though some of the vendors were already packing up their tables as the convention was winding down... So, please provide some level of training to your staff so they all work together. Bottom line we will NEVER stay in this facility again...
