The staff was very kind and friendly. However, the A/C was not working in the hallway, but our room had A/C. We did see a few roaches. You can definitely tell the hotel is dated. But, honestly the kindness of the staff certainly balanced out the downsides.

I love the historical history of this hotel. I know its hard times right now to keep up the property (its large) and too expensive to cool the whole building; but the rooms are very nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again, its a great value and not a long drive to the Galveston cruise terminal (about an hour). This is now my go to for a night before boarding.

I woke up to a cockroach crawling on my head. The bathroom light didn’t work so they brought in a lamp for me to use. There were small roaches crawling around in the bathroom. The bed had stained sheets. WiFi didn’t work good at all. Overall I would not recommend this property to stay at while in Lake Jackson

A roach came from behind the picture in the room. The secondary lock was missing from the door, broken off. “Curly” hairs along the edges of the bathtub and around the base of the toilet.

There were roaches everywhere. In the hallways, in the bed, bathroom. The place had a horrible smell. There was visible mold in the ceiling and on the walls. We notified the front desk of the issues and immediately left. We had to spend money on another hotel. They also would not refund my money even though we only spent 10 minutes in the room. I’m not sure how this place is even open for business. Do not book here!

The pictures are nothing like they are on Expedia. The fountain does not work. The bar does not is not lit up. The continental breakfast is cereal and a hot waffle. There was no hot coffee at 8:05 in the morning. Don’t stay there. The elevator is so raggedy

I liked the staff, our first room wasn't acceptable,, the staff immediately switch our room and it was fast and hassle free. I loved the water pressure in the shower,, the breakfast wasn't up to par. Definitely should upgrade there breakfast situation.

Nothing seems to work in this room . TVs don’t hook to internet even when it says does on the TVs. The channels cut in and out horribly on the tv. The Wi-Fi half ass worms . We had roaches in our kitchenette . We asked if someone could come fix the TVs and the lady just kept saying I promise the TVs don’t work in our rooms . The pool was closed though we were told the day before when we boned it would be open. Won’t be back

So bad

This was an awful experience. The hotel was in poor shape and smelled awful. We got our room key, went into the room and the bed were unmade and the room was dirty. Immediately requested my money back and went somewhere else. Still haven't received a refund!!
