Check-in was 4pm. Was unable to check in until 5pm. We had dinner reservations already made for 5pm. Hotel allowed late check-out of other guests that affected our check-in time. Hotel claimed it was due to the hockey team playing that night.

Cheaper places with better customer service

We have stayed here twice a year for 6 years, spent hours in the pub ate dinners and breakfast here and never have I been so disappointed. I show up for my reservations to find the pool and jacuzzi closed that day. I received 2 emails previous to the stay, one from the Queensbury hotel itself stating that the amenities are the pool and jacuzzi, hotels.com that they were both open. I asked the woman at the desk regarding this issue about accommodating the inconvenience she never offered an apology she simply stated “it should’ve been on the Expedia website and we sent you an email.” When I opened my email to show her the amenities list she scrolled to the bottom of the email and said there it is. It’s at the very bottom underneath everything but the email at the top still says amenities open. She then says that on Expedia website (I used a different website to book) that you have to scroll to the bottom click “others” and it will show up there on another page. She then proceeds to tell us that we’re welcome to leave after tonite without a charge for tomorrow. Worst customer service ever. No apology and basically told us we didn’t look hard enough and we’re welcome to leave.
