The room was nice, spacious. There are only 2 wall A/C units and both are on the first floor. There is a ceiling fan in the loft which kept it mostly cool but it ticked like a metronome. Mildly annoying. The pool area is great for the kids and adults. Also they have cabana’s you can rent for the day.

The hotel is in a great location. I loved being so close to the water. It was also very quiet. Due to adding a night to my reservation (and doing that through Expedia) it caused a lot of problems with the staff. Although I did my best to call before I checked in to let the Cove staff know I added a night to my original reservation, it still caused issues. I found this very annoying and the male staff member at the desk was rather rude.

Overall, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. However, the pool area was disappointing — there was litter both around and in the water, and the general upkeep was lacking. The indoor pool area had dust buildup on fans and vents, suggesting the property is not well-maintained or up to date. Additionally, the AI virtual service assistant was unresponsive; I sent messages with no replies, which made the service feel unreliable.

BRING BACK THE POOL MUSIC

Normally this is a 5-star hotel, meant for summer fun. Guess they have new management. The pool always has music playing for that vacation summer vibe. No music makes it very boring. Others complained about that too. Also, the back parking lot needs a good cleaning. Other than that, this place is the best in Lake Geneva.

The Cove is an amazing place to stay. The lake is literally right across the street where you can take boat tours, jet ski or lay on the beach. There are plenty of ice cream shops and none of them disappointed, lots of gift shops and restaurants in walking distance the staff is so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I will be bringing my whole family back to stay next year and every year after that the rooms are clean, warm and welcoming definitely a 10 out of 10 highly recommended.

The bed was small, more like a double. The mattress seemed very old. Terrible night of trying to sleep. Large groups of boys running down the halls at 10:30pm and the front desk staff just watched them. Hallways and common areas seem to not have been updated since the 1990’s.
