We liked that the abbey has restaurants inside the the abbey but also a few local restaurants that you can walk to from the property. Having both an adult and kids pool is a great feature of the property . Also, the property was very walkable with the Geneva Lake shore path right off site . Once we parked the car we never had to get in again until we left to go home . Cool coffe shop onsite and nice ice cream shop within walking distance.

The hotel has seen its better days. The rooms are small, the furniture worn, and if you have a pool view, don’t stay there. In addition, people are walking by your room, and if you have your blinds open, they can look in and see you. There’s not very much positive that I could say about this hotel. For what they offer, it’s very expensive. I think you could do a lot better staying elsewhere and I know we will never go back. It’s clearly living on its past reputation. What I did enjoy was the shore path which follows the shoreline of Lake Geneva with beautiful homes perched above. I also like Sammy’s restaurant on the Square in Walworth.

Another hidden fee location. - Expect a minimum of $50 more. - Expect there to be no parking available unless you either valet or walk to the other side of the resort. - Expect to have to walk around the resort again to go through the maze to get to your room. - Expect an outside outlet to have exposed wiring connections next to the pool… - Expect to drive 15-20 minutes to anything else. #noUberEats The room was nice though…if your with a large group want joining rooms and a shared balcony…it’s even better…
