YOU CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD $30/DAY FOR AMENITIES??? WHAT AMENITIES??? I WAS NOT TOLD AT CHECK-IN THAT $30/DAY WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED, I WAS TOLD $50. WAS BEING HELD IN CASE OF DAMAGES OR INCIDENTALS. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT AMENITIES WERE ALLOWED ME??? WARM COFFEE IN A THERMOS FOR 2 HOURS IN THE MORNING. 1 BOTTLE OF WATER IN THE REFRIGERATOR UPON CHECK IN , NEVER REPLACED NO DAILY SERVICE, WE USED THE SAME TOWELS FOR THE ENTIRE STAY. YOU HAVE NO POOL AND HAD TO TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN TRASH. NO ICE MACHINE AVAILABLE THE RESTAURANT AND PUB WERE NOT AVAILABLE AT CHECKI N. THE "BEACH"??? SURROUNDED BY MOTOR BOATS AND THE POWER WASHING OF THE DOCKS INTO THE WATER. NOT SAFE FOR SWIMMING.WITH OIL/FUEL RUN OFF. THE PARKING LOT IS IN DIRE NEED OF REPAIR. MY FRIEND TRIPPED ON THE BROKEN CONCRETE AND STRAINED HER NEWLY REPLACED KNEE, ALMOST FALLING ON HER FACE, HAD I NOT CAUGHT HER. AN ANENITY? The Wolfboro Inn is a quaint little place in an excellent area - very walkable and close to everything. The staff was nice, and the lobby was beautiful. The overall property condition however was not what I expected. This used to be a true luxury resort, and I do not think that is the case anymore. Paint and window work is needed. There was nothing about our small room or the property that would make you have a luxury or resort feel - should not be charging a resort fee. While our stay was fine, it was not worth the money.

The place was fine, very old hotel but nice upgrades. Shower was nice. The annoying part is after the stay they charge a “resort fee” for this old non resort for the two water bottles they leave in the room and to use their exercise room. Unbelievable! Will never go again for that reason.

The rooms are adequate for sleeping. We were put in a room that felt like a basement. It appeared to be their room fitted for the disabled. Sad that this is how much they think of them. It was a glorified basement room with tatty furniture and no natural light. The prices are far too high compared to the rooms we were given. Next time in Wolfeboro, which is often as we have family there, we will try somewhere else.

Disappointing for the price point

It was probably just the time of year, but our room was full of ladybugs. The temperature was set to 62 when we arrived, so our room was very chilly, especially with the bare floors. But the building itself was very pretty and we had a great view. There was a balcony, but it was locked. I probably would not stay here again for the prices they charge.

A surprising upgrade

We stayed here at the Inn two years ago and had a very mediocre experience, but it's so convenient I decided to try again. Everything has been redone and this was the best night I had during a 9-day road trip. It's a great place so I'm glad they decided to upgrade everything.
