Iron Horse is an excellent property! The lobby and lounging areas are so well decorated and inviting, you want to spend as much time there as your room. But the rooms are huge with fabulous decor and amenities so you might not want to leave. We also had dinner at their restaurant - The Yards. We sat in the outdoor area which was spacious with an outdoor bar and various levels and areas to dine. The food was excellent. We only stayed for one night as we were passing through but we hope to get back to Milwaukee some time so we can enjoy a longer stay.

This is possibly my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at. We had a number of things go slightly wrong (the TV needed to be fixed as well as our safe and toilet paper dispenser, housekeeping did not come his scheduled) but the staff was so delightful and they solved every problem with excellence. I would come back to Milwaukee exclusively to stay back at the Pfister.

This hotel is on well water so it smells and tastes funky and irony. I recommend buying some water for drinking from the nearby kwikTrip gas station. Room smelled like feet when we first walked in. I think it might have been the HVAC unit. Maybe a dirty filter or something. Otherwise it was a good stay. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is yummy. Pool was good. Hot tub was nice. Price is reasonable

Amazing location and staff. Nacho and Mason were so wonderful! They helped us a lot. Can’t wait to stay there again.
