Quality stay and excellent value for money. Staff very welcoming and breakfast was quality. Only downside was the wifi not working, but you cant have everything 😉

The bar was not stocked at all, the breakfast was awful the bread was stale and the breakfast tasteless. The room was clean and the lady on checkin when we arrived was amazing. The food on the first evening was lovely. Wouldn’t stay again. A 2 night stay and everything had run out on the bar

Access to MAN airport

The building is aged but overall is good. Bed linen is clean, bed is comfortable. Check in and out was fast. We needed to arrive airport at 4am, this was a good choice in terms of money n distance. 20 mins drove to APH car drop off point, then took 15 mins shuttle bus to Terminal 1.

Soulless and clueless.

Having stayed at this location on and off you over 20 years, I was pleased to see it reopen. It was a big disappointment. The receptionist told me they had been open for over 7 years. It has been closed for about 18 months with a change from Premier Inn to BW. The refurb did not extend to the room I stayed in. The original lobby was refurbed but is not used... The menu was limited, and even then items were not available. My final choice came with a vegetable of the day - peas! I had ordered a steak, but was told I they were all out of this. So I reverted to Steak & Ale pie, but I was informed as they didn't have steak they couldn't therefore provide a pie with steak! He found out that in fact they could, and so I was given my uninspiring evening meal. The chap opposite had to collect his own cutlery, and most of the individuals in the bar looked disappointed and bored - zero atmosphere it what was previously a buoyant location. This will probably be my last stay, which is sad given the many good times there under Premier Inn.
