The only thing I liked is the beach is just next to the hotel. The rooms are not great … WiFi is horrible … If you are looking for comfortable and quiet time this is not the choice .

This hotel was amazing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. The front desk lady was super nice. We could only stay 1 night and she upgraded us to a king suite with a ocean view.

The pictures are truly misleading. The roaches crawling around the property and trying to enter the room's was disturbing. One couple was actually walking around counting them. If we could have gotten our money back we would have left. But they wouldn't refund it. Beds were hard. Room smelled old and musty. Good thing it was on the beach. Parking was a nightmare in the evening.

When visiting family, we usually stay in the area and have stayed at the Mariner many times. It is close to family, beach and activities. This trip we thought that the hotel was looking shabby; trash (from renters and beach goers) was visible and common. Breakfast was also not up to standards.

Perfectly Acceptable

We had a camping trip planned in the middle of summer and ended up in the middle of a heat wave. We found the Mariner Inn and were able to book a room the same day. Staff were friendly, we did not get to try the free breakfast they advertise. The room was clean, no bed bugs or roaches, and the towels were clean, and the AC worked great. The only thing we can think to warn about is that only one of their buildings has handicap accessibility, so having a planned reservation would be a good idea. Overall, nothing fancy, but a clean place to get out of the sun non the less.

The room was ok. Issue was the power outlet next to the bed did not work. No way to shut off the ceiling fan. The mattress was like sleeping on plywood.

The thing I liked is the unit was very spacious, water was hot, air conditioning was cold, sheets were clean, towels were white. TV works. Our unit was on the 3rd floor and there was NO elevator. Office said grandfathered in because the building is SO old. Very old and very worn. For seniors, this was very difficult. Kitchen is very old. Unit was not very clean. This is a substandard facility for a pricy price. I would never stay here again. Once we climbed 3 flights of stairs, we ordered pizza so we didn’t have to climb the stairs again until we left. Not senior friendly.
