"Excellent Hotel"
I lived in Kihei for seven years, and never had occasion to stay at the Maui Coast. On my recent visit, I found it to be much more than I had expected. The staff were warm, friendly, professional and helpful. The accommodations were excellent. The amenities, bed, linens, toiletries etc, were very good. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. The beach is across the street. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Overall rating, excellent.

"Nice hotel on sandy beach + good snorkeling reef"
Rating between 4-5 but because the front desk and maintenance/cleaning staff were so friendly and outstanding, went 5. If you want to not eat out every meal, there's microwave, mini fridge and coffeemaker. They bend over backwards to provide whatever info and things you need. Not oceanfront but you can look/peek at ocean from your window. Loved Kihei area, near great hiking and snorkeling.

"Friendly staff at good hotel."
This was a one night stay before flying out of Maui. It is s smaller hotel close to the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are adequate and are nicely equipped for small meals (toaster, microwave, and fridge). Chairs and umbrellas are available for the beach. There is a quiet beach just across the road. Reasonably priced (for Maui).

"Excellent accommodation in a spacious condo"
Our condo was located near a lovely pool surrounded by vegetation and with a waterfall and marvellous hot tub. Always room by the pool. Grounds were beautiful. Very central location to all activities on the Island. All amenities close by. Condo was well supplied.

"Just what we expected"
We were very pleased with our stay at Aston Maui Hill over Thanksgiving. The unit was fantastic. The night before we left, they called and offered to upgrade us from a two bedroom to a three bedroom. Initially, they offered this for an additional $140 per night. We negotiated and were able to do the upgrade for half the cost (thank you!). The three bedroom unit was as nice as any house I've ever lived in. Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, nicely decorated. We were disappointed with the view because we looked through many trees and could not see the ocean really at all (maybe a shimmer from the corner of the lower lanai). We were in Unit 70 which was only steps away from the pool and office. The unit had dish washing tabs under the sink, a fresh scrub sponge, dish towels and every kind of cooking implement needed. On the first night, we spent $100 at FoodLand then went to Target near the airport the following day. FoodLand is close but Target has much better prices. We only ate out two times the entire week (we prefer to cook and pack sandwiches). In our closet, we found five boggie boards, a set of snorkel gear with fins, two beach chairs, and a beach ball. That was a gift as we used the chairs almost everywhere. We left our Styrofoam cooler when we checked out. There was soap, shampoo, etc. in the bathrooms so that was a nice touch. No laundry detergent but we brought pods with us. There was salt & pepper in the cabinet

"Very conveniently located condo close to the beach"
We were very pleased with our condo in Kihei- Akahi. The location was perfect close to the beach but off the main road. Was quiet at night and never a concern about security. The location on the island was ideal as well because it is the sunniest and hottest part of Maui. Central to the island as well and easy to get to tourist attractions. Every one was so friendly at the condo office as well as visitors around us and the local people. We would definitely come back again.

"Not as impressed as I thought I'd be"
We stayed here before on the top level and loved it, but this time it wasn't a pleasant experience. The shower didn't work and we were on the bottom level which was very noisy. If we come back, I'd ask for a room on the top floor. There were no beach towels for the beach, which made it difficult to go to the beach.

Kihei is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Kihei, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kihei hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
