"Nice condo in Kihei"
This was our 5th time to stay at the Mana Kai condos. It is on a beautiful beach. We love watching the sunsets and swimming and snorkeling in front of the condos. I enjoyed the yoga studio and being able to rent chairs, paddle boards, and kayaks. We were also able to watch whales from our balcony!

"Right on a public beach (not good for swimming)"
I've stayed here many times. Its an inexpensive hotel. My only gripe is the coffee pot. I'm not a fan of Keurig coffee pots. I would rather have a small pot of coffee instead of making one at a time. Beds and pillows are SO COMFORTABLE! The air condition and bathroom fan are very loud. There is sometimes a sewage smell outside the hotel. If you don't want any door dings in your car, I recommend parking in the gravel lot next to the hotel. Its not perfect but, you are never in your room anyways. I love Maui.

"Maui Kamaole MKK106 is an excellent value."
This was our first time at the Maui Kamaole. The condominium (MKK106) was nicely furnished, very clean and exceptionally welcoming. From the moment we entered the unit, we knew that our stay would be delightful. The owners had left some fresh fruit, coffee, tea and other treats to greet us. Our bed was comfortable and the unit - a one-bedroom condominium with two bathrooms - was large enough for four people to share with space for everyone to have privacy. We would definitely rent at the Maui Kamaole again, and would even request the same room. Our compliments to the owners for a fabulous place.

"Near to beach "
The best thing about the hotel it is near the beach, the staff is friendly and nice , the room furniture is old. Would be great if they offered complementary breakfast or limited room service free of charge. Above average in price but all the area is expensive. It is ok if you are not going to stay a lot inside

"Great condo facing the bay, great location & staff"
If you are looking for a nice condo for base camp, Unit 501 was just what you need and nothing more. If you are the low maintenance type and not looking to stay in a resort, this is a great location. Easy in and out, secure and safe, friendly neighbors, centrally located to restaurants, grocery stores and beach gear rentals. The highlights for us was this is on the 5th floor facing the ocean. It was the first week of March 2017 and the humpback whales were in the bay playing all week, from the balcony you can see them every day. We had binoculars and that allowed us to see them up close while having coffee or an evening beer. The sunsets are amazing as well since it faces west. Food trucks in the area have really good food (go find the coconut shrimp) and reasonable prices, you can walk everywhere. It is easy in and out. We spent a day up at Haleakala National Park, the sunrise from the East is not to be missed, the road to Hana is a solid full day trip and has great waterfall hiking, the West Maui mountains are also great hiking and beach is every where around you. Laihana is a bit more upscale, but great shopping and high end dining, only about 40 minuets away. We did a snorkeling and snuba trip to the Malokai crater and the harbor was only a 10 minute drive away. Snorkeling at Kam 2 beach by the rocks was amazing, even with low visibility in the water (there was a lot of rain washing into the ocean) we still saw 3 sea turtles, a nice reef, easy access from Kam3

Kihei is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Kihei, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kihei hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
