"Garden paradise"
Lumeria is an exceptional place. It is the original Baldwin plantation home, and has been through several iterations since. It is now a garden paradise with incredible serenity, quiet, and privacy. It also has a great restaurant, and many outdoor spaces to enjoy. Of note are all of the activities related to wellness such as free yoga classes each morning which are frequented by locals too. We loved using it as a home base for visiting the volcano and Paia.

"Nice quiet BnB"
Steve is a great host. Willing to take care of anything you need taken care of. We arrived late and left early, yet Steve was still willing to be awake when we arrived and have a light breakfast ready when we left the next morning. I highly recommend staying with Steve and Diane.

"Quiet, private and feels like home."
My husband and I stayed at Tradewinds for three nights. We wish it could have been longer. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained with a view of both the mountains and the ocean. The owners are gracious, welcoming and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The Traidewinds Suite is in the lower part of the owners home with a large room and a screened off area for the bedroom. There is a futon in the living room area with satellite TV. There are indoor and outdoor eating areas, a hammock, lounge chairs, a private hot tub, outdoor shower all for your use and not shared. Bev provides juices, ice tea, tea and coffee, granola bars, fresh fruit and cereal with almond milk for you to make your own breakfast. We bought eggs and bread and made them ourselves. We actually preferred being able to eat what and when we wanted rather than having the B & B having a prepared breakfast at a set time. There are free laundry facilities with all soap etc. supplied. This was a great deal as we had spent about $22 on laundromats earlier in the trip.

"Best decision we could've made"
My husband and I were super happy to have stayed at Bamboo Valley the suite is super clean, and host has everything that you can possibly need to make your stay feel at home. The area is a little hard to find but owners made every effort to email directions to make your drive easy. If you are looking for a romantic get away or family vaccation with a beautiful scene and romantic setting this is the place to stay. Like I mention they literally provided everything. They had boogie boards for us, coolers, beach chairs, towels , washer and dryer, outside shower, condiments if you choose to BBQ. I mean the owners are phenomenal my husband Gilbert and I will be going back next year and we plan on staying there every vaccation. Highly recommend it.

Hana Forest Reserve is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Hana Forest Reserve, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Hana Forest Reserve hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
