NYAH was a nice place to stay and would consider staying there again in the future due to the price. It’s definitely not a luxury hotel. There were three of us traveling and I wanted a place that had at least three beds because we didn’t want to share a bed. This place has bunk beds that were comfortable. The room was tiny so it was not a place to hang out and watch TV or anything. The pool area was quiet. Our neighbors were a bit noisy when they came in late at night. We rented bikes for the time we were there , which is the best way to get around in Key West.

We arrived and multiple guests in the lobby were warning about bugs in their bed. The reception attendant didn’t have anything to say about it. They showed us pictures, their bed and pillows were crawling with bugs. They offered to take us to their room before we checked in. We didn’t stay there, that was disgusting. We asked for a refund, the hotel denied and we still left to stay somewhere else. Apparently hotel staff was saying termite infestations are normal in Florida. I’ve never seen it in beds like that. The hotel ended up calling the police on the guests who were warning us. The worse place I’ve ever seen.

It was a 5 min walk from the Key West Express. They stored our luggage until check-in so we could go explore. All the fun stuff was another easy walk from the Nyah. Staff was friendly.

When we went to our room it looked like nothing like the picture and the bed had bugs all over it. We then went to an employee and told him about. He said “ yea all of key west is having bug problems”. We checked out and he told us to call the manager and he will give us a refund. We called the manager he said “ no refund and I’ll be sure to fire the employee that said that” WHAT??? Terrible hotel garbage manager DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT
