Small tiny bathroom, no hot water and it was loud next to the window

We were treated like VIP. Excellent Staff. Highly recommend. Only thing is the room are a bit on the small size but you dont book that type of place to stay in the room. Some places don't just take your breath away — they give it back to you, slower, deeper, better. 🌊 Blue Deep Resort in Padre Burgos, Southern Leyte is one of those places. The water here is so impossibly clear that you can look straight down from the surface and watch the coral gardens below — no mask, no fins, just pure liquid glass between you and another world. This little gem tucked into Cantutang is the kind of find you want to keep secret but can't stop talking about. Lush, peaceful, unpretentious — and sitting right on the edge of Sogod Bay, one of the most biodiverse marine areas in the Philippines. Some destinations you visit. The hotel is a new hotel so the condition is good and the staff are good at cleaning. The problem is in the advertising of this hotel. Most of their rooms are standard reasonably priced but very small and NO WINDOWS. On check-in made me pay the higher walk in price for an upgrade with a window. Ended up pay double what I had expected Hotels.com need to require in the Philippines that it is clearly stated if the room doesn’t have a window. Otherwise the Filipino staff are very gracious and helpful.

My only complaint is that there was a party on the second floor that migrated to the third. My friend had to go out in the hall and ask the partiers to keep it quiet. When we checked out, I told the manager about it. She was understanding but noted that that other group had a reservation, too. I reminded the manager that other guests have to respect their neighbors who may be trying to sleep. She said that she would make a not of it. While the manager was pleasant enough and seemed concerned, I don’t think that she understood the gravity of my concern.
