Great

The home was absolutely stunning, the pictures don't do the home justice. Even more beautiful in person. Every one of our wedding guest we’re in awe of not only the home, but also the views of the mountains. Corinne was also fantastic to deal with.

I love having couch areas outside the rooms. Excellent hot chocolate made with milk from the machine. Pool was cool and the step to get out was extremely high for a senior. One lower rung would have made getting out easier. No toaster or dish detergent to wash dishes.

We had a relaxing stay at the unit. The property manager Mark is very accommodating. Frank never failed to communicate with me as well before our scheduled stay. The place was secure and very cozy. Thank you!

Loved our stay. Comfortable and great location :)

Disappointing Stay – Poor Housekeeping and Unexpected Charges I stayed at Charltons Banff for seven nights, from October 17 to October 24, 2026, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The room was not cleaned properly every day. For a hotel in such a popular tourist destination, I expected much better cleanliness and housekeeping services. What disappointed me even more was an unexpected additional charge of $158.13 CAD in resort fees, which I had to pay separately at the hotel. I booked my vacation package through Expedia, and these charges were not clearly disclosed to me at the time of booking. I don’t understand why guests are expected to pay extra resort fees when even basic housekeeping services are not properly maintained. Hotels should be transparent about their charges and provide the services guests are paying for. Banff is a beautiful place, but my experience at Charltons Banff did not meet my expectations. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, improves its cleaning standards, and provides a clear explanation and refund for the unexpected charges. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel without improvements in service and pricing transparency.
