Alan at the front counter was so nice and friendly as well as all other staff even the bell man and the staff helping us open the connecting door. The hotel i heard is dated but amazingly feels new and clean. Super spacious, infinity pool was huge and no one was swimming there the 4 times we swam! Free breakfast and siu yeh was excellent. The fact that they have a Ipoh coffee machine is just making me want to take another 15 hour flight and 2 hour car ride just to go to the hotel and stay honestly. 2 minutes walk to family mart when we were jet lagged at 2am. Direct access to the huge mall with everything you need. 5 minutes walk to local 188 food center and a ton to see nearby. I don't know another reason to stay elsewhere in Ipoh honestly.
