There is mold all in the bathroom. Where the lighting is in the bathroom has burn marks on the ceiling and the shower head has a lot of mold it affected my grandson and myself asthma

It’s located close the American dream mall and met life stadium. The hotel itself needs some updating or at least the room we stayed in did. The heat didn’t work in the bed room area so we had to use the one in the sitting area and keep the door open. The only way the shower would work is if the bath filled up too. The door to the room didn’t feel that secure either. The handle felt loose and you had to play with it to get the door open. The staff was amazing.

Gave 4 stars because in our room (#815) there was a draft from the window which made the room cold. Couldn’t adjust temperature. Front desk did give extra blankets the next night which helped.

The staff was very friendly. However, the tub had rust in it the mirror in the bathroom was rotted, the sink was holding on for dear life. Had to share the pool with swimming school and hours of pool were minimal.

I booked this hotel for their pool. My kids have been wanting to use a pool so I got this hotel. We check in around 3:30-4pm to find out their pool is closed from 3-7pm. We wait until 7pm then we get restricted to one side on the pool while the other is being used for a swim class. There was 13 kids playing on one side of pool the entire time. Their website says pool is open from 7am to 10pm they even had signs by the pool with the same hours. If I had known this I wouldn’t have booked with them.

The bathtub was rusted and the shower head was disgusting. The beds were full size not queen, the pillows on the bed was couch pillows. The pull out couch sheets were dirty. No wash clothes until Tuesday night. The pool area was so cold it was like we were outside. The parking lot is full out pot holes

First and for most the first room I was given was cut in half and the tub was rusted , the second room I was given I got bitter up on the couch and was told it came back negative for bed bugs which I don’t get how and the third room I was put in was pretty decent compare to the other to .. hotel need renovation done ASAP .. Don’t listen to the reviews, I loved it here!

Lots of great things! Few cons but not too bad!! - free breakfast, idk why so many negative complaints the breakfast was actually good. My kids and I enjoyed it! ( eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, bread, muffins, coffee) - the pool is big & pool area is clean - Very clean, big room was almost like a two bedroom - Hotel staff were really nice and welcoming - Beds are comfortable, heat is great in the room - Ironically my son threw up as we were on our way to the hotel. I liked that there was a laundry room in the hotel & they even gave me free soap. (THANK YOU TO WHOEVER CHECKED ME IN TUESDAY AFTERNOON) - This hotel itself is huge and old fashioned but so well kept. - Less then 10 minute drive to American dream - Close to a lot of restaurants and food places, even stores like tj maxx and Burlington are walking distance Cons - cards stopped working a lot of times but they were very quick to give me a new card - Pool shared with swim school, which was annoying because we could only use the pool certain hours. - Pool room is really really cold although the pool itself is warm - No soap, toothpaste, hand soap or any tiny toiletries besides a roll of toilet paper so definitely suggest bring your own - Stains on couch but honestly the room was spotless besides that I will be coming back next month, I really enjoyed my stay here and am still completely satisfied. You have a returning family for sure! Thank you!

More a 2* Travelodge like hotel than a 3*. The building itself in/out is in a poor condition and desperately needs some tlc/investment. Our room wasnt the best, dirty/mouldy in places.(Caulking /Shower), No emptying of trash/rubbish during our 4 night stay. Beds were however comfortable and the room was spacious for a family of 4. Windows were dirty inside and out, road noise would have kept us up if it wasn't for us being exhausted after busy days in New York. Now for the positives the staff were all friendly and welcoming, the free breakfast although basic was very welcome; again great staff. Free fast WiFi a and towels available for the pool which itself again needs investment. Location wise, good and felt a safe area with a few stores and restaurants. For getting around the 320 bus from opposite the hotel gets you quickly (25mins) and safely to/from New Work port authority bus station. Download the NJ Transit App & ensure you choose 3 Zones. American Dream Mall which is well worth a visit is via bus 85 takes literally 10 mins (2 Zones). Overall would we stay again? Maybe - Please put some investment into the place.. it's ideally located to explore New Jersey and New York. $45-70 from Newark International Airport on a Uber or Taxi. Honest and supportive review from a UK family.

Our room needed services for various issues that were not up to my standards. Issues were reported immediately upon check in. Could not call the front desk. Was told it was out of service. Could not get a different room. Was told they were all booked. We had issues with lighting, a running toilet, a missing light bulb and the heat/AC units. The only thing good about it was the bed! I asked about a financial discount (in my opinion this hotel was not worth the money pent!) and was told I would have to contact Hotels.com

I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Secaucus, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience overall. The cleanliness of the hotel was shockingly poor. The room I was given was very dirty, with visible dust and stains on the carpets. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no housekeeping service during my stay. I had to deal with unmade beds and a lack of fresh towels, which was incredibly frustrating. The bathroom was another disaster; it was not only dirty but also had a strange odor that made it quite unpleasant to use. It’s hard to believe that this hotel is part of a well-known chain given the state of the facilities. While I encountered multiple issues, I will say that the front desk staff were a bright spot in my experience. They were friendly and polite, which was a relief amidst the overall chaos of the hotel. However, their kindness couldn't make up for the lack of cleanliness and poor service I experienced. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. A clean room and proper housekeeping are basic expectations, and unfortunately, this hotel fell short.

I booked the hotel for 5 people, there weren't enough towels on the first day, I went to reception and asked for more! On the second day when they cleaned the room they only put 3 face towels and no bath towels and so on every day The hotel has a smoke-free policy, but the smell of marijuana throughout the hotel is clear. I had problems opening the doors all the time, I had to go to reception more than 30 times to try to change the key
