Excellent out-of-the-ordinary stay

Excellent service with genuine warmth, the opposite of "corporate vibes". If something's not ideal, talking to the staff is all it takes to make it right. The beds are superb, which is my #1 consideration in a hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but since I wasn't spending a lot of time in the room, this wasn't a problem for me. The location is great for visiting Cornell and downtown isn't too far either.

Solid for Price but you get what you pay for

Good price; good location near Cornell; no frills "concept hotel" but fine for a place to sleep; would consider staying again, but hotel room should have at least a chair to sit in and not have a queen bed pushed into corner of room requiring person sleeping closer to wall to clamber off end of bed. And lobby pour your own beers nice idea but apparently flawed design results in lots of foam and waiting to fill a glass.

I got lucky and got the junior suite, it’s in its own building in the back. Used to be a garage, the owner converted into a cute little place, with a small kitchenette. The only thing I would suggest is having a peep hole since I was by myself in the back, and or a screen door. I used the laundry room, which you can get quarters from the front desk. The price is reasonable and very close to the campus.

The property was super cute, set up like a dorm. The hotel lobby was very welcoming and had a sitting area, TV, snacks and self service beer taps, both for purchase. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Make sure you request housekeeping daily if you need it. I wasnt aware you needed to request it to get service so the 2nd day I was there I came back to my room and it wasn't cleaned and towels weren't replaced. No big deal but just for reference, if housekeeping is something you want daily. I had a sophmore queen room. The room had everything I needed, a queens size bed, tv with casting available, a private sink and bathroom and a small desk. The room was perfect for me as a single. I would say 2 people in the room would definitely be tight but for 1 person it was perfect! Overall, I would say the hotel was conveniently located and it was a great stay. I would stay again!

Stayed here as part of a visit to Cornell. Located at the very bottom of the campus - it is a short climb up to campus. Dorm hotel is unique (in my opinion) and exactly as described. Rooms are very small, small bathroom. Just enough room for a bed and a desk. It was tight with two people but quite doable. Very clean. Perfect for a summer visit. I enjoyed and would definitely stay here again.
