Horrible stay. The mini fridge, coffee pot, and microwave located in the bathroom. Paper thin walls that you can hear everything going on next door and outside. Beds uncomfortable and place very old and outdated. Would never recommend to stay here

The room was very cute. The bed was comfortable and there were a lot of pillows which i loved. The gas station/convenience store .1 miles away had great smash burgers and fries at a reasonable price. There appeared to be several restaurants nearby. Check in is done via text. We were coming from Yellowstone with 0 service. Had to borrow wifi from a hotel in West Yellowstone. Other than that, everything was great.

Even though you don’t get to meet anyone in person, the directions and information are perfect. Lovely clean room , good amenities . Anglers lodge across the road for food was amazing.

The River Lodge cabin we had for two nights was awful. Floors were so filthy that even after showering if you walked on the floor just in the bathroom without shoes you had to wash your feet with a wet cloth before putting your house shoes on. There were spiders in webs in the ceiling that I had to knock down with a wet cloth when I saw them after showering as well as webs with insects caught in them. The cabin was inconvenient as there was no place to store any foods other than those that would need refrigeration. The bed linens on the beds did not look as if they were fresh washed as there were stains on one of the bottom sheets where something had been spilled and left. We were only booked for a 2 night stay and requested trash pickup before we left this morning at 6:45 and received a text message that because we requested trash pickup we were charged for a 3rd night. The request was only to let management know that we had left. All I can say to anyone thinking of booking a stay at River Lodge is DO NOT BOOK. I would never recommend River Lodge to anyone ever. This was the dirtiest place we have ever stayed.
